Winemaking Tasmania is a specialist contract winemaking facility situated 10km east of Hobart. It is one of the largest wineries in the State and offers contract services to many of Tasmania’s leading wine brands under the direction of Chief Winemaker Julian Alcorso. In 2012 we expect to process in excess of 1100 tonnes of fruit, specialising in small batch production. The varieties that we process include Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Pinot gris and Pinot noir. In addition to normal processing and wine maturation, we offer a sparkling service (method champenoise) as well as on site and off site services such as bottling, cross flow filtration and reverse osmosis work.
